About QuoAnno

A better sense of when.

QuoAnno is a timeline guessing game about everything that happened: empires and inventions, dinosaurs and discoveries, films and internet culture, art and exploration.

Not just a history quiz

The point is not to memorize a textbook. It is to build intuition for scale. Julius Caesar, T. rex, the last dodo, the first iPhone and the formation of Earth all belong on one continuous story.

BC and AD

QuoAnno uses the traditional BC and AD labels in its player-facing timeline. AD is the Latin Anno Domini. Scientific dates are still stored with explicit uncertainty when the evidence only supports an approximate range.

Calm by design

No account is required. There are no energy meters and no five-question wall. Endless Mode lets you play one event or fifty, while Daily Mix offers one shared ten-event set each day. Your local browser remembers your progress.

Content quality

Questions are written to make the claim itself precise. If an “invention” involved several people, the question names a specific milestone. If an ancient or scientific date is approximate, QuoAnno can accept a range rather than inventing false precision.
